Built by a contractor who needed it
Dwellinger started as RCB Group's internal platform. It became a product because other contractors kept asking what we were using.
Who is behind it
RCB Group is a London property project delivery, coordination and assurance business: residential, commercial and bespoke, from planning and pre-construction through procurement, coordination, delivery and aftercare. The legal entity is RCBS Limited, Company No. 09500269, incorporated in March 2015, registered office 347 Barking Road, London E13 8EE. Director: Vasi J.
The team that built and tests the platform is the team that runs the jobs: operations and client liaison, estimating and quantity surveying, finance and procurement, and site. If a feature does not survive a Monday morning on a loft conversion, it does not ship.
Why it exists
Every tool on the market solved one piece. A CRM that could not estimate. An estimating app that did not know the lead existed. Planning data in a spreadsheet nobody opened. A phone system that logged nothing. RCB Group built one platform to run its own work, then kept building.
Where it is now
- In daily use on RCB Group's projects: pipeline, estimating and scope, planning intelligence, calls and messages, invoicing, site diary.
- Pre-launch as a product for other contractors. Multi-company accounts, onboarding and billing are being built; founding contractors come on in small groups.
- Not a marketplace yet. Contractor vetting and homeowner matching are designed, not live. We will not describe them as live until they are.
How we work
Scope before price. Clarity before commitment. Coordination before problems become expensive. Control before money moves. Those are RCB Group's rules on site and they are the rules in the software.
