In many cases we can begin scoping and even commence certain preparatory works before grant of probate, depending on the executor's legal position and the nature of the works. We work alongside your solicitor and defer to their guidance on timing. The important thing is we are ready to move the moment you are.
Do you handle clearance as well as refurbishment?
Yes. We coordinate clearance — including skip hire and disposal of unwanted contents — as part of the overall programme. You deal with one contractor, not three. Everything is itemised separately so the estate accounts remain clean.
We are not sure whether to sell or let — does that affect your approach?
Slightly. We will discuss both scenarios and the specification adjusts accordingly. A sale refurb prioritises kerb appeal and buyer impression. A rental refurb prioritises durability and compliance. We advise on both and price to the one you choose.
Can you send invoices in a format suitable for estate accounts?
