RCB coordinates all of this as part of the service — you do not need to manage multiple consultants.

What is the difference between design and build and using separate architect and builder?
With separate appointments, you manage the relationship between architect and builder. With design and build, RCB coordinates everything. This reduces miscommunication, accountability gaps and the risk of costs increasing when design and construction are not properly aligned.
Can I use my own architect and use RCB just for construction?
Yes. If you already have an architect and drawings, RCB can act as principal contractor for construction only. We are experienced at working alongside architects and designers.
Can RCB produce concept designs before I commit?
Yes. We can produce feasibility drawings and initial concept designs to help you visualise the project and understand its potential before committing to a full appointment.
How much does design and build cost?
Costs vary significantly by project type and scope. We provide a detailed estimate once we understand your brief. We are transparent about costs — there are no surprises after work starts.
