CDM Principal Contractor
Statutory RoleUnder the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, a Principal Contractor is the party legally responsible for managing health and safety during the construction phase of a project. Where rcbGroup is appointed to deliver the construction phase, we can take on the Principal Contractor role, confirmed in writing — coordinating all trades, managing the Construction Phase Plan, and issuing a Health and Safety File to the client at project completion.
