Bathroom Renovation FAQs
How much does a bathroom renovation cost in London?▼
A full bathroom replacement in London (strip-out, new plumbing, electrics, tanking, tiling and fitting with a client-supplied suite) typically costs £4,000–£8,000. An ensuite conversion from an existing bedroom costs £6,000–£12,000. Wet room conversions cost £7,000–£14,000. Underfloor heating adds approximately £800–£1,500.
Do you supply the bathroom suite?▼
We work with your chosen suite — whether from B&Q, Bathstore, Victorian Plumbing, Porcelanosa or any other supplier. Alternatively, we can advise on trade suppliers. Suite, taps, tiles and accessories are client-supplied unless specifically agreed otherwise.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?▼
A standard full bathroom replacement typically takes 1–2 weeks from strip-out to completion. An ensuite conversion takes 2–3 weeks. We confirm the programme before starting and aim to minimise disruption.
Can you convert a bedroom into an ensuite?▼
Yes. We partition the bedroom, route plumbing from the nearest supply, extend electrics and fit the new ensuite. All included in one fixed price. Building Regulations may apply depending on configuration — we advise at survey.
What does waterproof tanking mean?▼
Tanking is a waterproof membrane applied to walls and floors in wet areas — around the shower and bath — before tiles go on. It prevents water penetrating behind tiles and causing damage or damp. We include tanking as standard on all bathroom renovations.
Do you install underfloor heating in bathrooms?▼
Yes. Electric underfloor heating is the most cost-effective option for bathrooms and ensuites. We lay the heating mat under the tiles and install the thermostat. The cost is approximately £800–£1,500 depending on room size.
