An L-shaped dormer extends across the main rear roof slope and down over the back addition, yielding a double bedroom, bathroom and landing on what was previously dead roof space. Most qualify as Permitted Development within the 40m³ volumetric limit. Conservation areas in Clapton, De Beauvoir and Stoke Newington may impose materials conditions.
Structural Considerations
